Indigo dyeing Work shop of KODAI MOJI

The indigo dyeing experience of ancient characters was extreme popularity.

I choose the favorite ancient characters and write it with wax

デザインをしたら、温めた蝋で、文字を描きます。

It gradually becomes the deep hue when I dye it many times.
And it has finally been completed.
Everyone be a happy smile!

何回も付けると、深い色合いになっていきます。
グラデーションをつけることも！
そして乾かして、完成！

お盆休みの東京は、街も電車もガラガラ。

でも、駒込「遊庵」は今日も大盛況！

冷たい和菓子や氷パック、ドリンクや、定番の花束の差し入れを持って、

続々人が集まってきました。

一人増えると、室温が１、２度あがる。

猛暑でたっぷり体温を上げた人たちが、計８人。

取材や撮影、体験や見学、顔をみせに、、、暑いわけだ。

でも、これが寺子屋「遊庵」の理想だった。

アートの話をしながら、

自由に書きながら、

お茶飲みながら、

近況報告しながら、

人の温度を確認し合う。

汗を拭き拭き、みんないる。

涼しい所を探しながら、みんないる。

あっついなぁ〜と言いながら、みんな笑ってる。

なんか、いいな「遊庵」。

This week is Summer vacation [OBON]

Someone go back his country home,

someone go to international travel,

so town and train is not crowded.

But,,,my small work studio is crouded.

Everybody coming to YOU-AN.

very heat up.
